With so many so called experts out there, and so much information (most of it conflicting) your probably wondering right now ‘how do I know who to listen to?’
Im no expert, that’s right I said it, im not. too many people nowadays want to pretend to know everything about everything, but anybody can be an arm chair expert, throw up pointless studies and just regurgitate information they got from google 5 seconds ago. You should be very weary of the person who sounds like a walking encyclopaedia on the internet.
So why should you even listen to me?
This is the part where I list all my credentials and convince you I’m the all single all dancing best fitness guru on the planet, but actually Im not going to do that. the truth is, you should AND shouldn’t listen to me. 99% of people who want to get in to shape don’t know the first thing about diet or training, therefore these people just need to be taught the basics and the fundamentals, but unfortunately ‘basics’ don’t sell magazines and everybody wants the next new secret/shortcut/miracle. Which is why I stick to what works, because im not an elite level athlete and neither are you.
So I don’t claim to be an all knowing expert, because anybody who does on the internet anyway is probably full of shit. Instead I just do a couple of things;
- use my qualification’s in sport and exercise science/gym instructing in the context of resistance training
- use my knowledge through further development and self study
- use my experiences in different types of training and sports
- use common sense
- be honest, truthful and keep it real with people and try to wake people up to the bullshit in the fitness industry.
So yes i’m more than qualified to give the level of advice I give to people, but it ends there, I don’t pretend to be any smarter than I am or that I have all the answers because I don’t, and quite frankly you don’t need them. On top of the specific and applicable information that I give to people regarding diet and training, I try to wake people up to the corruption and lies of the fitness industry, im not always here to teach you, im just here to open your eyes and wake you up, after than its up to you. this is pretty much all I do;
- help people to get in to shape on a daily basis (not win a gold medal! just get big arms and a six pack ready for the beach lol as easily as possible, and it is easy!)
- stop people getting ripped off

Why you shouldn’t listen to me
I know I have your best interests at heart, but you don’t, you cant know that for sure. So the best thing you can do for yourself is become a learning machine, listen to as many different people as you possibly can, get as much advice from different places as you can, diversify your sources of information, then eventually as you become more experienced you will be able to work out what was good advice and who is full of shit.
nobody else will tell you this
Im just being honest, nobody else will tell you this because they want you to listen to them, they want to keep you all to themselves haha but you got to do what’s best for you, and that’s get some knowledge and experience from as many different people/books ect as you can so your able to recognise good advice when you see it
